Qualifications (for Security Officer Positions):
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Not be a candidate for or elected to a public office.

Health Care Job Opportunities:
EHCC employs a variety of health professionals, including but not
necessarily limited to physicians, nurse practitioners, registered
nurses, licensed practical nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians,
phlebotomy, dentists and dental assistants. All health care providers must be
licensed and/or certified in the state of Louisiana to practice in their field
in order to be employed. Other staff involved in the provision of medical care,
such as Correctional Security Officers, assist with the provision of care within
the limits of certifications they receive such as First Responders or the various
levels of Emergency Medical Technicians.
